Some leave a large inheritance, and they remember the same thing. Today, I want to talk about one person who will live forever. His name is Elvis Presley. All of you, at least once heard this name, but not all of you know who he was. Elvis Presley was the king of rock and roll. From the very beginning, he became the idol of youth, gathered thousands of audiences. He had a clear talent. I would like to dwell on his life in more detail.
From an early age, Elvis Presley was interested in music. In the beginning, he even sang in a church choir. Over time, he began to practice blues and country. You probably know what it is. If not, refer to the dictionary. Elvis loved his mother very much. He even dedicated his first record to her. Nobody listened to the record except her. Well, the first song, which was called That’sAllRight, was released by Elvis in 1954. She blew up the audience and became a hit of the time. He recorded this song at a famous studio called SunRecords. Elvis wrote the next song at RCA, the title of the hit HeartbreakHotel. Just imagine! The song Heartbreak Hotel was played everywhere on the radio for eight weeks. This is a great achievement. After that, Elvis became very famous. He was given six gold discs, they began to write about him in all the newspapers. Variety Magazine came up with his middle name – King of Rock and Roll. And that name was deserved. Nobody was so popular at that time. It was the success of Elvis that spawned the beginning of the creation of many groups.
In the fifties, Elvis had a career peak. He had a huge number of fans, about a million. Just think about these numbers. He was awarded the Grammy Music Prize three times. Interesting fact! One hundred and forty-nine songs of Elvis fell into the top of the most popular songs of that time. Unbelievable!
In 1956, Presley first appeared on television. Elvis was a special person, with a difficult character. This repelled mature listeners, but attracted young ones. His name began to be applied wherever possible. Starting from guitars to shorts. At twenty-one, Elvis became a millionaire. He had everything that only he wanted, namely, money, talent, popularity and much more.
