Each of us has heard about costume musicians more than once. But, remembering them, the first to come to mind are the guys from the KISS group. These six guys were the first to decide to “hide” behind a thick mask of white paint. The initiators of this innovation were Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley. The remaining four members of the group actively advocated for this idea. It is noteworthy that each participant has his own specific image, which is unique. By the way, Kiss is also the founder of such a style of music as glam / shock / hard rock.

He enjoyed extraordinary success with rock fans.
Glam rock performers had a bright, catchy look, embodied for the most part through the theatrical performance of very strange and even eccentric costumes, the abundant use of makeup, androgynous look.
